This semifinal clash lived up to the billing of two basketball teams that were evenly matched.
Holly Pond and Good Hope traded the lead throughout the evening with the Lady Raiders ahead after the first period and the Lady Broncos moving ahead by the end of the half and hanging on to the lead going into the final 8:00. Haley Bagwell was the hot target for Scott Adams\' Lady Bronocs with two field goals that pushed them back in front following a Good Hope basket by Ashley Stanley.
But it was Bagwell\'s accuracy at the line especially when the game entered crunch time that stood out.
The junior guard/forward was eight of eight at the stripe for the game and perfect in six visits to the area during the fourth quarter. She locked up the Lady Broncos\' 21st win of the season with a pair at the line with 13 seconds remaining that upped the advantage to five.
Holly Pond won the game from the line in the final period with the team connecting on eight of 11. Good Hope managed to go three for eight from the line in the period, missing four of its last five opportunities.
Bagwell\'s 10 points in the fourth pushed her as the game\'s top scorer with point guard Haley Terry delivering 12 in the opening half.
Mills matched the excellence of a scoring point guard with 13 in the defeat for
Michael Oldcare\'s Lady Raiders with Stanley knocking down three field goals and was four of four at the line.
